Albert L. Bauer Plumbing, Inc. has been serving the greater Pittsburgh area for 30 years. Albert (Butch) Bauer started working for Ryan Homes in 1960 and continued working there until he was drafted by the U.S. Army in 1964. After being honorably discharged in 1966, Butch returned to work for Ryan Homes. Shortly thereafter Butch passed his Master Plumbing Examination.
In 1977, Butch started his own business (sole-proprietorship) and was the sole employee for one year, until he hired his brother Jerome (Jerry) Bauer to help him in 1978. Jerry is still with the company and handles operations.
In July of 2001, the company incorporated as Albert L. Bauer Plumbing, Inc. and Butch assumed the role of President.
In April of 2004, Butch retired with over 40 years in the plumbing field, and his oldest son Daniel (Dan) Bauer assumed the role of President. Thomas (Tom) Bauer, Butch's youngest son, is a Master Plumber with the company. Butch is still involved with the direction of the company as a member of the Board of Directors.
Today, the company continues to grow under Dan's leadership and now has twenty five employees and more than twelve trucks on the road. The company's primary focus continues to be the installation and repair of all phases of plumbing for builders in the greater Pittsburgh area.
